Multi-AI Integration


AreaViz puts ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini in a single chat so you can use each model where it is strongest. Ask a question with one model, then regenerate the same answer with another, or switch models mid-conversation. AreaViz keeps the thread intact: earlier messages are carried over as a running summary with the most recent turns sent verbatim, and images you attached recently are passed to the new model as originals, so a provider switch never means starting over.

Bring Your Own API Keys


AreaViz does not sell tokens or resell AI access. Instead, you register your own API keys from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google and pay each provider directly at their published API rates—usually far less than a separate subscription for every service. There is no account to create and no sign-in: keys are stored in your device's Keychain, never on BoardTack servers, and every request goes straight from your device to the provider you chose. Register one key or all three; only the providers you set up appear in the model picker.

Getting a key takes a minute: OpenAI API keys, Anthropic Console, Google AI Studio. Paste it into Settings and AreaViz verifies it and loads the available models.

AreaViz is a universal app for macOS, iPadOS, and iOS with one shared design: the same chat, the same model picker, the same settings, whether you are at your desk or on the train. On the Mac it lives in the menu bar as a popover or a regular window, always one keystroke away; on iPad it opens with a sidebar for your chats; on iPhone it is a full chat app.

Conversations sync through iCloud, so a thread you start on your Mac continues on your iPad or iPhone exactly where you left it, and your API keys sync securely through iCloud Keychain when you enable it—there is no BoardTack account in between.
